Hey exclusive members! I have had, in our household, 11 KIA's. Never had issues with them. Loved the warranty. I just got my Borrego, traded in my Sedona van. This one was my third Sedona and talk about not being excited about a car...own three vans and understand. Since I got the Borrego I feel different! No need for Viagra anymore, hair is growing back, and I am walking with that swagger long ago forgotten.

Anyway, back to reality. The last time I was excited about a car was in 1969, after that it is all a blur. The Kia's were great cars for the money and kept me off my back in the driveway and garage for all these years.
Now I have the Borrego. Maybe so-so mileage, large tires to someday replace...who cares! I am again excited about owning a vehicle. I have just gotten side graphics put on and I am ordering the side steps from Jack (thanks to Smuook) will order the bull bar also and dress her up. I did not get the expensive model, never do, but I always get the FULL warranty and that is worth it's weight in gold to me. If I keep it long I am totally covered, if I trade her in in 5 yrs. I get the refund of the extra warranty.
America is a great country!

Hehe Tomlang. I lived to see someone find a way and say how great America is on a car forum. You seem to be all very patriotic. I never talk about Europe where i come from. Its whatever for me.

Definitely. I have had only problems with my Borrego since the day I drove it off the lot - tremendous steering wheel shaking, pulls to the right, paint damaged, eletrical issues which mysteriously occur then go away (and are not able to be duplicated at dealership). Some of the issues have been fixed, many have not. And, there is no way to get back the hours and hours that my husband and I have spent at the dealership.

After a 5 hour drive today our Borrego has performed flawlessly. Has all the bells and whistles except bluetooth and DVD player. It's a smoother ride than my Mazda Tribute. So, at this point...don't regret it at all...time will tell.

Well the wheel shake and pulling can be tires and balancing, and a wheel alin, All which are covered under warranty till 15thou miles I believe, 20k in canada.
Paint damage is covered, if from factory,
what are the electrical issues that keep coming and going?
Sorry you have having such problems, As a side note if your electrical problems are a safety issue. You may have lemon law acts in your favor.

I Have 2009 Borrego With A V-6 Engine. When I Am Traveling Up A Hill It Will Not Shift Out Of 3rd Gear. I Was Going 85 Mph With A Dealer Tech In The Car And They Told Me This Is Normal. They Said You Have To Maually Shift To 4th Gear Does This Sound Correct ?

I have no regrets at all about buying this vehicle. In fact I'm very impressed with it and have recommended it to family and friends. Gas mileage is decent for a vehicle this size and the ride is comfortable considering it is a SUV. Very roomy and lots of accessories.

Nothing but problems since purchase. I've owned, driven, and worked on cars for 30 years - Subaru's, Chevy's, Ford's, Saab's, Porsche's - I've never seen a POS like a KIA, the design and construction is just asinine - no wonder their reputation is as a 'disposable' car - never again - no way, no how - I'll walk ('cuz I'll probably end up walking anyway).
