Rancho Shocks...

That's good news about Rancho. Would you recommend calling them directly and talking to one of their tech people? Or using an off-road shop around Columbia, SC (where I am)?

what is rancho website address to check if it definitely would fit with EX V8 4x4 Borrego? Or are shocks same on V6 as V8?

The reason I posted what I did was for informational purposes only. I didn't post it for criticism from you. If I had had the $55,000.00 for a Tahoe I would have bought it. Since I'm not as wealthy as you, I had to settle for something in my price range. If you can't say something useful in response to a posting. I suggest you not post anything.

Kia just missed the boat when it comes to ride smoothness.
I like the Borrego except for this charateristic. The way it's p****** me off I may trade it for a Tahoe.
Looks to me like you opened yourself up to criticism. If you didn't like the response I guess you should think before you type.

As for the ride I actually don't think it's all that bad. If you have a load on it, it seems to smooth right out. I'm comparing this to the ride of my F-250 and my old Cherokee.

You purchased a Borrego. I am saying something useful, if you don't like what you purchased then buy something different. You could spend thousands changing the springs and shocks out only to find you still don't like the ride. Cut your losses trade it in for a Buick crossover.

GMs tend to be softly sprung....

GM trucks tend to be softly sprung for the soccer moms (according to the salesman). The downside of that is that they don't handle as well, especially during hard emergency manuvers. One thing I have noticed, is that after a few thousand miles, the ride does soften a bit. Either due to the shocks wearing in or the tires softening up after sitting on the dealers lot for a year (or both). To each his own.

The Tahoe just has bigger tires which i feel may improve the ride. I wouldn't buy it though. It is too ugly, too noisy (not inside but outside with that low rev V8), and the price is just too ridiculous. I mean if the Mohave is so terrible....GOSH i can imagine that the Tahoe will be like driving on a double cream waterfall. Because i find the Mohave very comfy. add 10 times better ride in the Tahoe and WOOF.... I wish there was such a car.

It's funny how we all buy for different reasons. I bought the Borrego because of the ride. All the other SUV's with a low range tranny rode soft as puppy poo, and leaned proportionally. I prefer feedback like a sports car not a limo personally. The Borrego can pushed harder around corners and not feel like it's tipping like a sailboat. Each to his own.
I do think that a little softer high speed dampening is what would make the difference for you though.
