Question about posts

Ok, so since I made a post about a company looking for testers of a new product for kiaís it got deleted because they are not a paying vendor.

No big deal, I have no affiliation with the company, but I do take issue with having posts about products for our vehicles being censored. I have asked for clarification as many posts on here are about products not by vendors who pay to be on the site.

So my question is, should posts about products be deleted just on the fact the company selling them is not a paying vendor?

Iíve been in the car scene since the late 90ís and have ran my own shop. Iíve built countless vehicles from the ground up and would never want to be out of the loop on what is the latest and greatest. It feels counterproductive to have a forum where products specifically for our vehicle canít be talked about.

Your question was answered in a PM.

Yes you can post a link to a good deal available for any manufacturer out there, including the one you chose, but it gets suspicious when you start acting as an agent forwarding contacts by PM etc. for a company that has quietly allowed its vendor account to lapse.
