Not to mention taking the time to get all those pictures moved to another service. Not gonna happen.

I mostly did stereo install guides anyway, which most people don't even bother with in this day and age. I doubt my pictures will be missed, but it's the principle behind it of course.
I kinda agree, but it's mainly a posts here on Kia Forums (both in the 2012 sorento and 2016 sorento ones) and some in the old dodge forum that i'm still somewhat active in, even though i no longer have the truck. I've helped out alot of people with some guides that i know are still looked at. There are a bunch of other forums that i never visit anymore that i'm not even going to bother with since i doubt anyone looks at anyways like your stereo install guides.

The nice thing about using links from dropbox (even though it's a bit of a pain) or links to google drive is that the photos are on my computer as files. So i just have to generate links and input the link. I'm also thinking about setting up a small web server on my ESX box just to host them so i never have to worry about it, just worry about my domain name and to keep everything else secure (which it is behind my PFsense router running on the same box.

On occasion I can be so stupid.Downloaded all my PB albums then deleted my account.Went to put them in the Flickr and couldn't find them. Didn't think they had a 12 hour and one download limit. Can't really tell what I think of Photobucket.

photobucket have not just shot themselves in the foot, they've blown their whole legoff.....what a bunch of clowns.

reminds me of when ARC decided to withdraw their blanket free licence. Along came Phil Katz with ZIP literally overnight and.....well where is ARC today huh?

Your post reminded me I had to download my albums....guess what? Every time I try it, website prompts back there was an error accompanied by a "try again later".

Can't believe these jerks are brazenly kidnapping our content.

I just seen something like that on one of my motorcycle forums.I guess they must think they're the only game in town.Must be a shock that lots are leaving.I find my Flickr account easy to use once it's figured out.Should have moved ages ago.

I hadn't tried that, only just downloaded an individual photo, however I did try to download an album and it would not work for one reason or another and tried this in Edge and Firefox to see if there was any difference - there wasn't!

Fortunately every photo that is on Photobucket is on my home computer so really nothing lost if it all disappears.

It just seems to be a matter of time,I was spared for week or so from the first deletions I'd noticed.I at least got an email telling me,the first round guys just got the deletions out of the blue. It's nice yours are working, just don't expect it to last.

Just keep trying. I eventually got all my albums downloaded. Their servers are being HAMMERED by people trying to get their content off.

Like every other album I would try to download, it would fail and i'd have to start it over.

It took me a few hours throughout the day to get everything off, close to 1,000 pics between 30 or so different albums. I did just leave some content on their (old old old stuff that has no relevance anymore). I finished uploaded my content to Flickr.

The real amount of time is going to be going thru multiple forums and replacing links for DIY threads and such
