2012 Kia Forte won't start

Hello everyone. Just wondering if anyone has ran into a problem similar to this. My car was fine a day before this happened, as I was able to start and move it, but it had been sitting in the carport for about 3 days prior to that. When I tried to start it, today, it started for about half of a second and died. Now it won't start at all.

It is turning over, but it won't even try to start. Like it's not firing, or not getting fuel. With how abruptly it stopped working, I thought there may be some tripped switch, or something electrical going on with it, but not sure.

Maybe someone on here has ran into this problem?

Thanks

Did you try spraying a small bit of carb cleaner or sensor-safe starter fluid into the intake, to see if it would start and run for a few seconds on outside fuel?

Thank you for the response. I will try that as soon as I get some starter fluid.

You can also try banging on the fuel tank from underneath with a rubber mallet...
That can get a bad fuel pump working temporarily...
A must on newer cars is an OBDII reader (at least) or an OBDII scanner...
They can be bought for under $5.00 see...
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-ELM327...:pf:0&LH_BIN=1

Then download the Android or Apple App for "torque" ...

This WILL allow you to read the stored codes in the engine computer (ECU/ECM) and search Google for what the codes mean...

What is the mileage on your car and recent maintenance performed?... This also helps with us helping you...
