Question 2005 sedona timming belts

Hey Guy's your life savers here I just bought a 05 sedona 109000 mi probley needs timming belts can you be so kind to give me a ball park price I'll do some shoping around here two( lower alabama) no other problems great van.thanks partners,[email protected]

Welcome to the forum! Prices will most likely vary greatly depending where you go. Dealership price I believe would be around $600 for parts and labor. Be sure to replace the belt and the tensioner.

Cost

I dont know were you might be located but here in Washington State I just paid $685 and they did the belt, tensioners and also the water pump since its right there behind the belt. If you need it I would recommend doing both together.

Those prices are cheap. I went to the dealership and they quoted around $1,200 to do the timing belt and pulleys, they didn't mention anything about changing the water pump.

Paid about $750 Can here in Canada and had all belts changed as well

because good timing belts are usually made of specially formulated/treated rubber.
They are expensive, can be $300 in parts alone.

Family man with Kia Carnival 2001
KV6 petrol engine variant.
Rebuilds after years of using as a 4WD substitute...
