Radio buzz

So another question for our 2007 Sedona with the upgraded infinity sound system, and DVD player.

We get a buzz coming from the center speaker that goes away if I hit the dash.. However. It usually comes back in a short while. Sometimes you can go days without hearing it and others you can't even listen to the radio because the buzz drives you nuts. The buz happens regardless of if your listening to the radio, cd or tape deck.. Speed and road conditions don't seem to mater.. Any idea where to look to fix this ??

Thanks
Josh

the most common cause is a torn speaker membrane and there is a good possibility you just need a new speaker and yes it would drive me crazy also.

I think I know the sound you mean when the membrane is broken, but that's more of a low pitched sound, no ??

This is ver high pitched, maybe buzz was not the right word... It sounds like there is a bad ground if that makes sence, but the sound does not seem to change with rpm..

I have the same problem but havenít found a cause. I was hoping it was ignition noise but new plugs and packs didnít fix it.
