Fuse box mystery

Does anyone know what the brown box/relay is in the interior fuse panel by the steering wheel? My fuse diagram just says ALTERNATOR but it doesn't look like a normal relay, and there's no part number on it that I can see. It's the brown box in the pic below.

Trackerrr did you ever find a part number for that relay ( resistor/diode) i am looking for one now. Kia says they donít list one and the only way to get it from them is to buy the whole IPM

The Brown Box/Relay is the 'shunt' it removes power from all the accesories that rely on back up power to help prevent discharging the battery when in long term storage, To change it would probaly require disassembly of the IPM, if it is nor available new I would try a breakers/wrecker.

IUU know where someone has just the shunt but the time to get to US generaly takes 2 weeks.
