Front License Plate Bracket Install Tip

BEFORE installing your front license plate bracket:

Look for the dimples in your front bumper: DO NOT assume these dimples are for your mounting screws!!!!

Take a look at your bracket - Does it have two little plastic pins sticking out in the back? If yes, Chances are THOSE pins on the bracket go into the dimples on the front bumper and the screws go into the bumper using the screw holes in the bracket. The dimples in the bumper cover are often the alignment points using the pins on the bracket. There are no pre-drilled screw points - you just start the screws in the screw holes while holding the bracket in the dimples...found this out the hard way...

I haven't run into this yet, but, if there are no pins on the back of your bracket - make sure the screw holes match up with the dimples.
