DIY Hood gas spring damper Kia Carens/Rondo (and any other)

I had it done for my previous car so it was the first thing I did for my Carens.

You will need one gas spring (strut), 2 ball joints for it (some springs can be bought already with them), piece of metal for holders and some tools (hammer, drill...).

I've used Magneti Marelli GS0695, originally for Renault Mégane III Coupé spring (OE: 904510002R - using this number you can buy it in every shop).

It takes aprox. 1 hour.

For any other car you can find appropriate length (délka) and strength (síla) of spring here: universal parts/universal parts/gas spring of rear door
