Kia pregio 2.7 compression test

hi just wondering if anyone knows what the compression results are for a 2.7 diesel? i am wanting to comp test one but dont know what the numbers should be.

Diesel has compression ratios much higher than petrol. Therefore, one should expect something in range of 1:15-1:20

yeh, thanks but i mean in like psi numbers on the gauge?

ambient is 14.5 PSI (more or less). Therefore, you should read 215 PSIG to 320 PSIG.
Depending on type of gauge you might have the 14.5 PSI included or not (it will say on the gauge - PSI or PSIG).
Anyway, when compression is an issue, what you will see is not even compression across cylinders so that 14 PSI is not a concern.
