Check Brake Light warning still on after replacement

Hey everyone,

So the check brake light warning came on for me today. Used a mirror to verify that the back left light was out. When to AutoZone and bought this set of lights https://www.autozone.com/electrical-...?checkfit=true since their online app said it would work in my vehicle.

Followed a guide on how to replace them. Replaced both bulbs. Warning light on dash is still on and now identifies both brake lights as out even though i verified both are working. The warning is very annoying as it beeps at me and switches my screen every few minutes.

Do I have any options here besides replacing with some other bulb that works with the monitoring system? Is there any way to just disable the warnings?

Thanks.

You probably have to use the exact type of bulb that was originally in it for the resistance to be correct for the sensor and turn off the alarm. If you really had brake lights out, I think that alarm is a great idea. At least as long as the driver pays heed to it and fixes the lights so he doesn't get rear-ended.
