Which grille should I get?

I'm looking for input and second and third opinions.

I'm thinking of updating the looks of my Kia Sportage, which I think is a sporty, beautiful SUV, underrated for the most part. However, it's true there is something to be desired about the front end of the vehicle at certain angles.

I'm thinking of two grille options. One is a bolt-on silver mesh grille, which would be easy to install. The other is a replacement part grill.

The second option is about 100 dollars more than the first, which itself is a 100 dollar item, but it's a bit more upscale. But I'm worried that installing the part will make me think too much of a Jeep or Buick.

What do you guys think? Should I even do anything at all and leave the grille as is?

Thanks for the feedback.

Hi 106IFA, the thing is personal taste is so very much different by person. Personally I really like the stock Sportage grille. But out of the two you showed, I would have the say the plain mesh grille looks the best, it is clean and makes the front of the Sportage look clean. The other one looks more like "Hi, I'm not very well endowed so I have this ridiculous grille to compensate) LOL (Sorry, I couldn't resist, that 2nd grille is way over the top for me).
Take care

Garage

First one is nicer but I still LOVE my front end.
I would get a George Foreman Grill before that ugly second picture

Second grille is bold for sure and could be fun. But, I get it, it's too bold.

I'm on the fence about getting any grille now. I'm going to stick with my original plan: Paint the skid plate silver. Maybe even gold? This should give the Kia's fascia the added character that it needs.

I have a white Sportage, BTW, with black out wheels.

The second would be fine IF it didn't have the big X in the middle.
So, the mesh would be my choice if I were inclined to change the grille.

Those grilles exist. And they exist in a multitude of different colors - blue, red, gold.

They would make the Sportage look rather like a Jeep, IMO.

So the grills you show are for FWD models only correct? I know my AWD 2017 SX has the flat panel containing sensors right square in the middle of the grill that's not meant to be covered up.

you would have to disconnect the sensor from the old one and put it on the new one.
