Backup Camera unfocused, Sportage EX 2019

My new Sportage is great......... but that backup camera has quite a blurry image. It's usable -- the focus makes out items in the rear somewhat -- but I expected more from a $29K car. Is this common on Sportages? Is there any way for me to adjust the focus? Would this be a warranty issue? Thanks.
Note: the camera lens is clean.

Are you sure there isn't a protective cover on the lens?

My camera is great on my SX and keeping it clean is important.

I heard about a "protective cover" elsewhere. I looked VERY carefully and couldn't see anything I could remove easily. Maybe it's right there, in my face, but don't recognize it. Ideas? What does this cover look like? Thanks.......

A soft film of plastic like all the other ones throughout the car. Kind of scratch with your fingernail around the edges and see if you can pull it off.

It's not unlike the plastic film you find covering a new cell phone screen.

If there is no plastic on the lens, you have some other problem that the dealer will have to address.

Maybe just try rubbing your finger over the lens, maybe there's some kind of a protective chemical coating or something, mine (2017 EX) looks blurry when dirty and crystal clear after I clean it by rubbing my finger over the lens.
Take care

Clean your lens. Spots from hard or dirty water will cause clarity issues. Drippage from the rear sprayer or a car wash could leave residue as well.

There shouldn't be any focusing for this lens. It will be a fixed focal length lens that us in focus for the distances it is designed for. It's like the disposable cameras. They are set for general use, not specialty imagery.

The image will be blurry at night, when there's moisture on the lens and when dirty. Carry a soft, clean cloth and get in the habit of wiping the lens daily. Won't help much at night unless they are using a much better back-up cam then the 2017.
