Hard wiring dash cam in Gen 4

Will shortly be attempting to hard wire a dash cam into this vehicle and was wondering if somebody could enlighten me to the "using a remover" mentioned from the service/repair manual. ksportagegl. com/center_fascia_panel_repair_procedures-1209.html. Are they referring to a standard trim removal tool or is there a Kia specific tool that is used to remove the clips necessary? Quite a bit to take out in order to access the audio power connector but if somebody knows of a better place to tap into the necessary power requirements for a dash cam, I'm all ears.

Thanks in advance.

I hardwired my dash cam directly into the fuse box on the driver side door using some add-a-fuses. No need for any panel tools or anything. The cover behind the mirror pops off on its own, the wire can be tucked above the headliner without the tool, and the driver side pillar cover pops off by hand. The hardest part was determining which fuses were live all the time and which ones were triggered by the ignition. I managed to find 2 empty slots to tap into.

I found a large plastic pry tool useful to go behind the driver's side pillar and into the fusebox. I was hoping to use an unused power connection behind the mirror but I couldn't find enough info on it, so the fusebox way wasn't so bad.
