20 inch wheels

Looking at a good deal on 20 inch wheels with 45 series tires. First, would they fit on a 2012? Any rubbing issues? Or should I stick to 17”/18” wheels instead with 60/55 series tires? I know it’s a personal opinion but what say you....

. I'm running 20" 245/45 +35 no issues. Very slight rub when wheel is completely turned, but I am lowered as well

what width?

235/45R20 would be almost the same as 235/55/R18

i have 235/60R18 w/ the stock wheels on my 2014 no rubbing when turned all the way left or right, and they're slight taller but slightly narrower than 245/45R20

Pulled the trigger...donít know the brand and no center caps but I couldnít pass up the deal. 245/40/20 up front and 245/45/20 out back. Kinda liking the 45 series...gonna look for center caps at local wheel shop in the area. Opinions??

Your ride, you are the one that's gotta be happy with it/them.
Personally, I find the ride on stock 18s too harsh on our roads, and would prefer 17s or less with more side wall.

Old enough to know better . . . . too old to care!

I have 8.5" front and 9.5" rear. Both 20" with 245/45.
Rear tire looks slight stretch.
So far no rubbing issues, since i normally drive alone. My self 59kg and my wife 55kg only, plus 2 little kids.
Rubbing only 4 adult seat and cross humps.
Where i stay road conditions is good.
But compare to 18x7" 235/55R18, 18" is more comfortable, specially passing through yellow speed breakers is annoying if using 20".
But hey, speed breaker not everywhere 🙂

With 245/45r20 speedometer tells u 120kph, actually it is 122kph.
With 235/55r18 for 120kph, actual is 118kph.
Better drive with gps, be careful of speed cam
