Guys,
Got a pearl white EX with no options...
Kia has awesome rebate on Sorentos.. basically $5k Off plus $4k off by dealer.. so in total, $9K off msrp..
Was thinking about buying a use done but new ones are much cheaper i guess
I am in san Diego... no AWD for me..

I was looking for the smallest 3 row suv and i think this is the best out there..
3rd row to be used very rarely...

Thanks a lot to this forum for all the knowledge..

Are they going to be coming out with a 2020 Sorento?

Anyone know? No one at my local KIA dealership seems to know.

They are not going to discontinue their best sellig model. What I expect to happen is that they market the Sorento as a 5 seater and the Telluride as the 7. Lots of people, like me, have no need for the third row of seats.

The Sportage is on the small side for a compact SUV. They still would need something to be sized between the Sportage and the Telluride.

I had a Sportage previously. It was nice, but it was smaller (and sightlines were poor).

Bottom line is every manufacturer is adding SUVs. Kia is coming out with one even smaller than the Niro. They’ve added the Telliride to compete with a true 3 row SUV.

If they did plan to replace Sorento with Telluride, they wouldn’t do it in the same model year that they introduced the new one! That’s crazy.

Car companies hedge their bets.

“Although some of us thought that the Sorento would get replaced after the Telluride arrived, that's not the case. Cole confirms there's some overlap between the two, but Telluride is bigger, bolder, and more rugged compared to Sorento. Although Kia doesn't have a two-row midsize SUV, there are no plans to launch one anytime soon. But if Kia changes its mind, the Sorento would occupy a tight space between the Telluride and a competitor to the Honda Passport and Chevrolet Blazer.“

That is the head of Kia Motors America in April in Motor Trend.

Yep, there are some great deals out there as long as you have an honest dealership. Something we lack here in Lawrence, KS. Even after having previously bought from them, they played bait and switch, wouldn't honor their own ads, and lied to my face. I bought elsewhere.
