Lucus fuel additive

I have a new Sedona 2019 with the big engine. Adding Lucus fuel additive a good idea?
Thanks

I personally try to stray away from additives unless I absolutely need it such has old vehicle with a lot of miles.

You can do it!

Lucus Fuel Additive

My Sorento has 3700 miles on it. I have used Lucus on all my other cars including a 2005 Honda Odyssey with 210k miles on it. Think it would be good to use it on my Sorento?
Thanks

Do you have a Sorento or Sedona?

I use top tier gas, so no need for any fuel additives.

If you do not have Top Tier gas, the maintenance schedule recommends Chevron Techron.

I think Lucas invests more in advertising than they do in their products. They are today what STP was back in the day, mostly hype . I'd just use tier 1gas as has already been mentioned.

Lucas is snake oil for the most part. Unless you live in some area that doesn't have additives in their gas (rare in North America). Two things you can add that work are 1) Bottle of Techron 2) Can of Seafoam.

But like I said, odds are neither would be needed.

I've yet to see anything showing Lucas does anything but lighten your wallet.

200,000+ miles on an engine that gets regular maintenance (especially a Honda V6) is the norm, not an accomplishment, and likely has nothing to do with Lucus fuel additive.
