2019 XL: At 70 mph it wanders, let go of wheel and it drifts right, have to keep correcting. Had it in, dlr tweeked alignment, didn't solve problem. I know KIA doesn't warranty tires, but, on new purchase what should I expect the dlr to do when I take it back for a recheck? I think dlr should at least rotate tires to isolate the problem? From reading this forum it sounds like KIA dealers are difficult to deal with? My first KIA.

Description of work: Verified toe integrity and reset SAS calibration and set steering feel torque to zero for lane control.

No other detail provided. Tires are Hankook DynaPro 2. I've had Hankook tires before, wasn't impressed but had no problems with them.

Welcome to the Forum...While I can't tell you just what the dealer would be "open" to doing to correct this complaint. It does sound as you are familiar with what needs to be done to track out a tire issue. My having worked in tire shops/alignment/dealerships in my past, I would agree that unless the tires are a directional tread to cross rotate the front tires. It will either pull left or may drive straight after doing so. I have even gone as far as having a tire flipped over on the rim of an non directional tread tire which after re balancing once the suspect tire has been determined , has 98% of the time "cured" the pull condition.
On a directional tread tire, same steps are also used BUT more "swapping is needed to keep all tires spinning in the correct position rotation.
Hope all works out for you on this and please report back on how things work out. :)

I have a slight pull too with my 2018 LX V6.. dealer check it before on my first oil change said its okay. checked steering angle sensor and said its okay... next i brought up again after about 10k kms they rotate tires said its straight.. but then there is always something that the car hardly go straight on the road always though its not strong pull but it goes that you need to correct.. around 26k kms I service for alignment.. went on long drive now the car has 33k kms and both front tire is wearing very bad obviously inside with feathering and right rear tire as well. Now the tires are awfully uneven.. Given that I change winter tire in the winter, the real milage of the tire is only about 20k kms and the inside has a bad wear. Had made an appointment and we'll see..

YES, the "electric" power steering can be one of the causes for a "pulling" issue, but NOT the ONLY reason.
And it certainly would NOT be the cause of abnormal tire wear as described in the previous post,That sounds like an alignment issue.
