Not hardly, I asked if anyone else has had this problem, with the shaking, for that very reason. You replied, and I addressed your reply, that's all. The shake has returned since they fixed what was found. That is why I posted this up here asking. If the only purpose was to rant about them, I would have put their name and address up, as well as the name of the service writer.

Seriously? The car was working just fine, until the boot failed and the shaking commenced. Never had any car do this, especially at less than 50k miles. They fixed it, and now it is back. No car should do this, find the problem, fix it right the first time, and go on. My Ford never gave me this much trouble, neither has her Honda. Some folks can fix things, others cannot. Some cars are not put together properly, some are. Some fail, some do not.

The more that is posted, and by his likes to comments posted here by the originator of this thread, leads me to wonder if this is more appropriate to move to the General Kia non model specific forum page and linked into the STICKY THREAD...Dealership Experiences. It is becoming quite obvious that the OP does not wish for automotive help for the car itself as this forum page is meant for.
Yes, Kia's come with a very generous FACTORY warranty that properly used is quite good...BUT from info posted by the OP, leaves me with a LOT of wonder as to what actually may have happened to initiate the problem. IE.. hit something that is not being revealed..All in all. if a warranty dealer repair is proper..it should have been done and correctly.

Yes, seriously.

It may surprise you to know that the Constant Velocity Joints in Fords and Honda's are most likely made by the same manufacturer as the ones Kia use.

Just like Ford and Honda, Kia does not make their own CV Joints.

Quality and not quantity counts.

Well, it is obvious to me that you do not have the correct answer either. Nothing hit anything, pal. It just started shaking, like it has done since it started, for no damn reason. Nothing was hit, nothing hit anything. They did not fix it four times, what makes you think they fixed it right this time? I will either take it to another KIA shop or move the hell on and never buy another one. We like the car, but this is ridiculous. The whole experience.

I have tried to be polite and respectful all the way through my responses to you, at this point being that NOBODY on this forum has seen your vehicle to offer "the correct answer" to your vehicles condition it is having..I see no better way than what my last posting stated of a move to the suggested posting area.
GOOD LUCK!
And I never said that I thought they had "fixed it" this last time...... I stand by my postings in offering suggestions both as to the vehicle, going to a different dealer and by a move of this thread to the one suggested.

That's pretty odd. So rotational speed of the axles/tires doesn't show up as increased vibration?

Another potential cause for shakes is worn out or loosened strut mounts.

Indeed. If the shaking isn't at all related to tire speed, then front end components become the next set of suspects.

INDEED..As the only thing posted as previous repair attempts have been about "throwing wheel weights"(multiple balances) and then finding a torn CV boot requiring axle shaft replacement. Along with the only real info given that it shakes at all speed when going forward. COULD IT BE that the OP has not mentioned rough running(IE the dreaded cracked spark plug curse) or something motor related. There really has NOT been much offered to give any direct course of suggestive action. There has not even been a mention of severity of the "shake". Also was stated as bought USED, who knows what it went thru BEFORE they got the vehicle???
