New Sorento and Kia owner

Hello everyone. Recently picked up a 19' Sorento LX. I had a Nissan Frontier but with a baby on the way I wanted more room and better fuel economy. I am honestly shocked with how much I like this suv. I've been in trucks a lot recently so the ride and mpg of this thing blew me away. It is so quiet and fun to drive. Fantastic mpg. I was getting 14 mpg in my Frontier with bigger tires so its a major improvement. I'm already looking at hitches and possibly HID or LED headlights. Thanks for having me.New Sorento and Kia owner-20190108_160316_1547014666049.jpgNew Sorento and Kia owner-20190108_160342_1547014679446.jpg

Welcome!

This post has some good info on LED's. The newest LED's work really good! The stock headlights are almost dangerous IMO....

Also, this website is really useful!

As for hitches, most use the Curt hitch. I got mine for etrailers and it wasn't hard to install (a second set of hands is useful for one part of the install though).

I have 55,000 miles on my Sorento and really like it. It is just the right size and is a great all around vehicle for our family. I even take it on the surf beach it is does amazing!

I like bulbfacts. Good site. The stock headlights are amazing compared to my truck haha. I will most likely go with the Etrailer brand hitch as I like the more durable looking finish. Thank you for the links and helpful info.

Also wait out for the aftermarket to come up with led fogs for the 2019s. Yours is a AWD V6?

Nope FWD 2.4. I wanted all the fuel mileage.

I'll be honest, I don't really like the cubes... I am curious to see the light output of them though.

Better off with LED's. The BCM does not play well with HID.
