Zdatt LED H7 high beams
I got some Zdatt 6000lm/bulb (50w/ea) bulbs from China/Aliexpress for $26/pr and they look almost exactly like the $90 Hikari and $50 Nineo bulbs on Amazon:

I also got the prescribed $1 adapter from eBay/China, K3 K4 K5:

My instructions:
1. Remove the dust cap, and remove one original H7, taking note of orientation.
2. Remove/twist off the metal "base" from the LED bulb, removing it off the front/LED part of the bulb.
3. Fit the H7 adapter in an orientation that matches the original base orientation, but puts the LEDs pointing at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions, like a knife blade vertical.
4. Twist on the metal base from the LED bulb, ensuring the H7 adpater has a snug fit. (The Zdatt's fins positioned the adapter for me, and the LED bulb cord was positioned down)
5. Attempt to put the bulb into the socket, pre-pressing the plastic adapter down if you need to, and using a skinny flathead screwdriver to assist with getting the plastic tabs under the mounting socket notches. This is definitely the hardest part.
6. Plug in the bulb, test as needed, stuff the cables and driver into the bulb housing, ensuring that the wires and sockets don't come into contact with the fan/heatsink.
7. Install dust cap, repeat on other side, and enjoy!
My results were pretty spectacular. The original H7 "hotspot" seemed just as bright, except the hotspot was a hot "area". The beam pattern isn't as perfect as the low beam HID bulbs, but still a marvelous improvement, especially for the cost.
I put all of my photos here:

Of note: I kept the same camera settings (shutter/aperture/ISO) for the comparison pictures, and covered up the low beam HIDs.
