yea, i'm at 25k too....which is a lot of miles for it only being a 2016. Lot of miles on the Hancook and lots of miles on the brake pads. I suspect I will need to inspect pretty closely at 30k which will come up very quick. little bit of a left pull when braking....guessing previous owners hard on car (rental, etc.). I probably should give the calipers a hard look too.

how many miles will you put on it before you trade it in? I was thinking half of the loan period, then unload it.

I had an 09 Rondo that I put 120,000 km on and never did any brake work on it at all. However it was just due for pads when I got rid of it.

My current SX I was told is still at about 85-90% remaining at 30,000 km. I down shift a lot to slow (luv those paddle shifters for that) and I have always considered applying the brakes as a good way to waste gas. The heat energy generated comes from your gas tank. So I pay attention to traffic and anticipate in order to reduce brake application as much as possible. With the extra power of the SX I doubt I will reach the Rondo level of mileage but we will see....

Very close to 36,000 miles. I run a lot of highway miles. Brakes tend to last a long time for me.

that is impressive. Longest I've personally heard of anyone on a set of brake pads on a non-hybrid vehicle. you must rarely touch that brake pedal huh?
