Unhappy Passenger side mirror signal light stuck in always on state.

Hi guys,

I just purchased a new 2017 Sorento SX last week. Yesterday the passenger side signal light got stuck on. The tail light is also stuck in an always on state. I first noticed this problem after trying to lock the doors when my wife still had the passenger side open. The turn signal doesn't work. It's just always on. Even when the car is off it stays on continuously. I unplugged the battery so it doesn't drain. My nearest dealer is 250 miles away so I can't just stop by. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks!

Check the fuses. Seems like a resistor issue too. Let the dealer fix it

Garage

due to your distance from your dealer phone them and find out what can be done without an actual visit.

There is a dealer in Fargo which is only 100 miles away from your location.

That would be my guess as well. Maybe a pull down resistor is blown, as you would get higher logic voltages, leaving some components in a permanent on state, which seems to be your problem.
