Rear plastic undercarriage covers

I just finished installing the hitch and lights on my car. The rear was so dirty and dusty inside that I could hardly get the covers off of the plugs to install the lights. Whoever worked on the car last did not reinstall the plastic covers on the bottom of both sides. I've tried searching for these parts (left and right) under different names but have not been able to find them. If anyone knows what the part number or name is I'd appreciate it.

As I recall from hitch installation comments a few years ago, the SX,SXL models did not come with covers. Conclusion, I believe was that the rear bumper or quarter panel shape was different than the LX, EX versions.

With my 2015 LX, I had indeed to remove lower covers and indent each side (vary small indent) to make room for the trailer hitch. Of course they were put back inplace.

Bought in Oct 2016 at 55000km, now (Apr 2019) at 73000 km. I like cars...

My 2014 SX didn't have any as well when I installed my hitch.

Well...given your remarks above and depending on the environment where the car is driven, I would have paid a second look about designing some kind of protection if my car did not have some already. As I said, mine, a LX, has them and when I installed the trailer wiring, everything inside was absolutely clean. So given the winter slush here, I'm glad of this condition.

Also , just out of curiosity, can you describe the harness or indicate part number cause your description does not seem to correspond to my installation, where I had to push a connector up to the light unit (on each side), remove the light unit and unplug the light wiring (about a foot from the light unit) then reconnect both sides to the male/female connector of the trailer wiring.
EDIT: ANd , given the adjacent thread (that I did not remember), is your car a 3row ?

Bought in Oct 2016 at 55000km, now (Apr 2019) at 73000 km. I like cars...

LMP The V-6 and Turbo 4 equipped vehicles came with a different rear harness. There are two connectors with "dummy" plugs in the left wheel well. It is just a matter of pulling those out and plugging in the trailer harness. Designed for the Kia factory harness but I'm sure Curt and others took advantage of the design. I guess Kia expected most people that planned to pull a trailer to opt for the more powerful engines.

Watnext is correct. The installation only required me to remove the drivers side rear light. My car is a third row and I used all Kia parts.
