Extended Warranty - Aftermarket sources

Anyone using an aftermarket warranty company on their Sorento? Experience and or recommendations. I found a number but it'll take time to vet out a good one or two. They all post high praise on their own sites.

First understand you are buying a service contract not a warranty. Also before you purchase one ask for and read the requirements for "you" the owner to keep the contract in force. Also read and understand the exclusions and requirements for a claim. Most service contracts run over $2,500, so consider the cost VS out of pocket expenses. "If" you purchased your Kia new you have at a minimum 5 years of OEM warranty with Kia on most items with 10 years on specific items.

I am 2nd owner and my 5 years expires approx July or Aug. I have been told two dates so I have to figure out why later. Plenty of time for that though as well as concidering other options or going forward out off pocket...

Some additional info. Kia's authorized service company is Fidelity Warranty Services. I don't know why they use this company as they have terrible reviews on the internet, but they do. I purchased a extended service agreement through the dealer as Kia's brochure for extended service agreements said Fidelity was Kia's authorized agent. As soon as I read the terrible reviews for Fidelity I cancelled the service agreement.

I purchased an extended warranty\service contract from the dealer when we bought our CPO Sorento SX. It's from Warranty Solutions. Had to use them twice this month and they covered both repairs totaling almost $2000. So, I guess my experience has been positive. Also bought a contract from them when we had a Honda. Never had to use it, but it was transferable to the next owner which added value to the sale. We currently have the 5 star wrap contract:

I swear I'd never buy one but I did and am glad I did. There were signs all over the dealership for mines (not Fidelity - and they all have one star reviews by the way). I spoke to one of the service reps and talked to him about it. I got a good response from him. Talk to a service rep at your dealer and see if they have a relationship with someone.
