Возможно что дилеры и имеют такое масло но сам я покупаю в розничной сети синтетику Pennzoil Platinum со стандартом API- SN - более новое чем API-SM.

It's possible that dealers have that oil but personally I buy oil thru retail outlets - synthetic oil Pennzoil Platinum with API-SN designation rather that older API-SM.

lol, @dubber09 i was trying to read reversed alphabets... then translated i bet vancouver is having fun with the snow right now hey?

from what i gathered, in colder climates oil based on PAO is better (amsoil, M1, castol penzoil) increased hours of use, ester based (redline, motul etc) better for higher temps like racing and abuse..
thats why place like australlia uses redline /motul, north america uses amsoil, M1, castrol penzoil.. but there is no pure pAO and no pure ester based, both have a mix of each other to benefit from each other's benefits.. to sum it up from BITOG:

Ability to withstand heat/oxidation. ----------------PAO: Good-------Ester: Good-Excellent

Hydrolytic stability. ---------------------------------PAO: Excellent---Ester: Poor ie.water absorbs into the oil (excellent in colder climates, storage etc)

Additive solubility. ----------------------------------PAO: Poor -------Ester: Excellent

Seal Swell. ------------------------------------------PAO: Poor -------Ester: Excellent

Vis. --------------------------------------------------PAO: Excellent --Ester:Excellent

Film Strength--------------------------------------- PAO: Good -------Ester: Good
Lubes N' Greases Oct. 2010 Pg.44-45

but newer oils now have better formulation to balance the benefits.. even the mineral oils, but still if you idle longer short distances drive in colder climates.. any synthetic will do..
if you see white frothy stuff when opening the oil cap when cold, thats condensation right there, its prominent on mineral oil, i havent seen any since i used synthetics..

presently using amsoil signature series 5w20, i have tried catrol edge titanium, kendall gt- titanium, kia oem synthetic..
service here is 6000km or 6mos, whichever comes first.. i have 2 vehicles i drive alernating.. though because the nature of stop-go traffic and short trips and colder climate, thats why i opt to use synthetic
