Like your original post, I think my original reply was deleted as well ..... Now what puzzles me is that if the rear is raised it probably will not drain correctly and will retain old fluid. So, what you put in will not be a proper fill. Do drain on the level and refill with rear raised? Not the easiest thing with ramps, I guess.

Only glad that TSB was only ever issued for N. America and we never had to worry about it. I did ask a well versed UK Kia service man and he looked at me as if I were crazy (But, that was probably well founded, at the time).

Just wanted to mention that I'm able to back up my 2016 on 4 ramps. That's how I typically do any fluid drains. The ramps for the front wheels just barely slide underneath the frame.. they don't fit if you try to drive forward up onto them though.

So after reading the comments from that old thread it looks like after 2005 raising the rear is no longer needed. Did I read that right. I've called my local kia before and they didn't know jack.
