Downstream o2 sensor heater resistance 98 kia sportage

HELLO can anyone help here 1998 KIA SPORTAGE QXYGEN SENSOR- lower one

Do you know what the HEATER resistance is suppose to be on a 1998 KIA SPORTAGE downstream bank 1 sensor 2 (OXYGEN SENSOR) after the catalytic converter.

I need to know the correct OHM READING between the two white heater wires to see if heater is good inside
the parts store has diff. brands o2 sensors, and i get different readings on my meter.. The Kia Dealer will not let me ohm an electrical item of theirs to check.

**PLEASE give me correct reading in OHMS .
thank you!!!

Don't know about the rear but I replaced my front one and same code popped back up for the heater again. New heater had 5 ohms of resistance so I know it has to be lower than that. I do have power and ground for it to work, even tested it before I installed it, so I thinking maybe 2.5 ohms.

No problem, I knew it has to be less than 5 ohms.

May I ask, where did you get yours, hard to find one with the correct resistance except from the stealer.

Walker is pretty good, running a Mass Air Flow sensor made by them. Thanks for the info bro.
Take care with this storm and stay safe.

I had o2 problems that were caused by multiple issues. The first was a cracked exhaust manifold that threw the emmissions o2 out of range. The second was a poor connection in the tight wiring harness behind the engine. I cut the connectors and wired in the harness wiring and o2's I had laying around from a Caravan 3.3L engine. Had no issues since.

Garage

The service/repair manual says 5 ohms.
The cat will set a code at only 5 percent blockage. Pour some laquer thinner in the upper sensor hole to clean the pre cat heater. You can also spray sea foam and let it hot soak for 15 minutes too. If the code goes away you will know it was the cat setting the code.
Videos on YouTube about using laquer thinner.
