Unhappy Carens Air Con, passenger gets wet feet!

Hi,

I've had a problem with the air con on my 2004 CRDI Carens, when I put the air con on for a while, clear water drips from the plastic air trunking under the passenger side dash. There's plenty of it and it soaks the carpet. Its clear so I presume its condensation.

I took the little electrical switch type thing out from under the air chamber trunking (held in by two small screws) and the water dripped out from the air chamber.

I had it looked at my Kia whilst it was under warranty, they just recharged the system, charged me £80 for the pleasure, telling me there were no problems.

I bought extra warranty (PHEW) with the car but as the problem was reported whilst it was under it's original manufactures warranty period, I intend to take it back to Kia...but before I go jumping up and down in the local Kia garage reception area I thought I'd ask you guys if anyone has had a similar problem.

Thanks,

Barney
