Default Tiburon Struts/Springs/Brakes on Spectra

I've read that some Elantra guys have installed tiburon struts and springs, but kept the Elantra strut plate (at top) for clearanxce reasons. They say it lowers the car but I didn't find how much. An obvious addition to this would be the front and rear Tib swaybars.

Are the Tib brakes larger diameter than Spectra brakes? Should be a direct bolt up if they are.

It would be interesting to try a Spectra with full Tibron struts/ springs/ swaybars/ brakes. Used parts from a ~2004-6 Tib should be relatively cheap from the local salvage yard or from car-parts.com. Maybe one of you scientists can try it out and report your results.

Then move this post to the Elantra 2004.5+ forum where there is some traffic.

Yes, mental typo. Elantra/Spectra, same thing so far as this topic goes.

Be a dear and move this to the spectra section, or delete it and I'll repost it there.
