Default Off-road tire on Kia Sportage

Hello:

Does anyone know if you can put 30" X 9.5" X 15" on a stock 2002 Kia Sportage (no lift kit) w/out having any problems re: the tires scraping against anything?

Thanks,

they will scrach a lot!!!You need either 1.5 inch boddy lift-wich takes 2 hours to install or you need 1.5-2 inch suspenssion lift wich takes 2-3 hours to install-/installation time is if you have expirience with cars and the right tools/
you can make your self the lifts.Or buy the boddy lift 80$ ,susp lift is just longer coil springs apr. 150$
have a nice day

On the rear you can put Aerostar springs on for a 2 1/2 inch lift and TJ springs for a 3 inch lift on the front you need spacers, longer springs won't give you any lift period.

you can fit 30x10.5x15 tires on a stock Sporty with only a little trimming of the front bumper, however they look stupid without a lift.

For more info repost this on the Sportage forum or visit 4x4Wire.com's TrailTalk Forums: Viewing list of forums go to the kia tech section and do a search, or post, there are a few fellows that actualy make lift kits for our Sportys there.

I have a 2 inch supennsion lift front and rear spacers cost $200 takes about 30 to 40 min a wheel to install, if your doing a body lift 1 1/2 inchs woud be the max you'd want to go. You can also get a 4 inch supenssion lift kit bu that runs around $700+

so a two inch body lift would make it so that you could run thirty inch tires without any rub?
