On the rear you can put Aerostar springs on for a 2 1/2 inch lift and TJ springs for a 3 inch lift on the front you need spacers, longer springs won't give you any lift period.
you can fit 30x10.5x15 tires on a stock Sporty with only a little trimming of the front bumper, however they look stupid without a lift.
For more info repost this on the Sportage forum or visit
4x4Wire.com's TrailTalk Forums: Viewing list of forums go to the kia tech section and do a search, or post, there are a few fellows that actualy make lift kits for our Sportys there.
I have a 2 inch supennsion lift front and rear spacers cost $200 takes about 30 to 40 min a wheel to install, if your doing a body lift 1 1/2 inchs woud be the max you'd want to go. You can also get a 4 inch supenssion lift kit bu that runs around $700+
