I just purchased a set of four Michelin X-Ice snow tires for my Spectra. Here is a pic of them. They quiet for a snow tire too. When we get some snow I will let you all know how they do.

Hmm... that's actually not too bad.. where did you get them?

On my talon I had to get 4 new H rated tires (Goodyear OFCOURSE!!!) and all four tires and install with insurance on them was around $500 as well. I believe so.. that was a few years ago! LOL

I woke up to about 4 inches of heavy wet snow this morning. The tires did great in it.

This past week we got some snow. I drove the Spectra home one night from work 30 miles in the middle of a snow storm. The interstate was snow packed and the Michelin X-ice snow tires did great. I highly recommend them.
