Default Coolant cut-off switch on Kia Shuma

Hi,

Is there anybody knows about the fault on coolant cut-off switch no.2 on Kia Shuma?

I just got my Shuma scanned by my tyre shop cause the malfunction indicator always on and off recently. The result came out with that fault message. They don't really know what that's all about.

Cheers,

Thanks for replying.

Unfortunately the mechanics who did the scan didnt tell me the code. The scanner on the car has gone missing before I bought it. So to test it, he took the car to the other garage and came back with only verbal info of that.

He advised me to take it to the dealer but havent got time yet.

Why not take it to a local parts shop and ask them to read the code for you - AutoZone in the US does this free of charge - not sure if you have a place like this in the UK.

ScanGaugeII - Trip Computers + Digital Gauges + Scan Tool
Why rely on someone else for those pesky codes, this will do that and more. A friend of mine has one and sez this is hot poop and everybody should have one. I will soon.

That sure is a nice device, but I suspect the price will put a lot of folks off.

I think the price is reasonable considering all the features it has.

But not everyone needs a scan tool. Also, not everyone with prices these days has 170 to blow, just to read a code once. Well hopefully you will only need it once.
Who needs something that figures out gas mileage. Its a simple piece of division to figure it out yourself. Miles Divided by gallons put in..
