I have a 2004.5 Spectra LX and yeah, I hear a lot of road noise. Not as much as in the Rio tho. I also put on and aftermarket exhaust so I her even more noise LOL. When I get my wife a better car I plan to go all out on a lot of stuff on this one. I am working on a turbo and other WHP enhancers but I will also be working on weight reduction. That will include removing the sound deadening coating. I will also be putting in torque dampers which will put a lot of engine noise into the car LOL.

My reomendation for ya if the road noise is too loud, turn up the stereo :-P

Matt

Dude, your driving a compact car, not a luxury car. even honda and toyota have a hard time deadening road noise. If you want a quiet car, get a german submarine like a merc or BMW. My previous honda was the same. thats why you have a sound system

haha, from your feedback at least i know that is not my car problem. Think v should put our volumn on sound system higher so won't hear any noisy sound...
