Hi,
Can anyone advice me how to optimise my Kia Spectra fuel consumption? I'm only geting 290 - 300km for RM60.00 (in town drving). What is the optimal mileage that I should get?

ooo, that is too little.. I got my Spectra for 3 months ago. RM 60, i can drive up to 410 KM on town driving. If highway, i can get to 450 KM before another RM 63 oil is pumped in.
But, FYI. KIA's car (expecially Spectra) is known for it's high fuel consumption. Because, Korean car's design stategy is base on "power" or high performance of the engine. But for Japan car, their effor and stategy+ R&D is base on the fuel economy concept. Which means that, they want "power" and the same time they want fuel econmoy.
So, if fuel economoy is your real concern. Then Japan car is the 1 u should look for.

my one seems like more fuel optimal? But I have gearbox problem...........RM50 can run approx. 370km, but my proton iswara with 12yrs old 1.5L Manual RM30 can run 300KM.............how 2 improve fuel consumption?

better to use fuel optimiser that can get a kia service centre <_<
