Shuma comes in wid all the standard features like front n rear elektrik windows, central locking, six speaker stereo etc. Its just a very very pleasurable car. It simply gives u best outa yer money. The maintenance n servicing charges are though a bit high.

Hi Guys,

I have been driving 2000 KIA Shuma GS 1.8 Ltr since Oct 2001.
It has been a good comfortable car until Early this year.
Then one by one problem started to occur and still today.

First the door indicator remaining on, so when you switch the interior light to be on when you open the door, those light will stay on while you drive. The alarm always sound giving false alarm due to this problem.
Then all of sudden the RH fan does not run, this has cause the aircon is shut down by the car computer and the engine overheat to follow. After this was solved, then the LH fan did not run, and has caused worse overheat.

The same problems happen on my daughter car KIA Sephia last year.

It seem KIA still has to improve their cars' cooling system.
