Exclamation 2002 kia spectra gs hatch vibration when in Drive

I have a 2002 kia spectra hatchback gs AUTOMATIC with 93k on it. Over the last few hundred miles it has developed a vibration when i am stopped at a stop light. A very bad vibration, but it goes away if i put the car in neutral or park? The idle of the car is normal but its vibrating is incredibly annoying and is started to make me think the engine is just going to fall out when i am driving it. it doesnt stutter or hesitate when I am driving it. Any idea what it could be and what to look for?

first thing i would look at would be the motor mounts, the front one mainly......if that mount is not sagging all that badly, it may actually be your down pipe (flex Pipe), causing the issue.........to test, try removing the 2 ,14 mm bolts attaching the flex pipe to your oil pan, and see if the vibration is better....if it is better a new flex pipe may be in order.
