Default Sorento Tint

I'll be changing my Sorento tint to a darker one this time but still undecided which of these brands to choose, Solargard or 3M tints. Any advise on this or any other brands? TIA

Hi Jollypierre!

I'd go for 3M, based on my experience...just make sure the installer does a good job

Thanks woo! I'm just little bit confused 'coz I've read in some threads that the Solargard tint is more superior that the 3M tint so I didn't want to just jump to it and feel sorry after. Have you tried Solargard tint before?

You're welcome...

I had someone install Solargard in my other car before but it faded after a few years (it went violet, bubbled and cracked...that sucks and it's hot!)...I don't know if I was hoodwinked and maybe they installed fake Solargard.

Anyway, I have faith in 3M. Regardless of what you choose, you have nothing to fear as long as the autoshop has competent personnel and if they will stand up for their work. Ask if they have the genuine products on hand and if they have some sort of warranty.

Be careful with the color though...I have black tint and I have been stopped by cops on occasion because they said my tint was too dark...hahaha, but there's no penalty for it

Thanks for your advise woo! I'm due for my month's "off" starting tomorrow so I'll have them changed this time.
