Sportage 2005 Top Speed

Hi, new to Kia and the forum.
Took a test drive today in a 2005 Sportage, very impressed with everything except.......
Unfortunately the only model they had to test was an auto....
The top speed was only 80 miles per hour which seems quite slow.
I won't get to test a manual for a couple of weeks probably and was wondering if anyone could let me know the top speed of the 2.0 Diesel Manual as I have trawled through all of the technical data and this does not seem to be mentioned.
I will probably buy the 2.0d XE any ways as I was so impressed but can't help thinking the reason for not publishing the top speeds is because they are low......

Also is it Sport "idge" or Sport "aaaaarge" ?

Just checked on www.kia.co.uk and they list the top speds for the sportage as follows:

2 litre Petrol Manual 108mph
2 litre Deisel Manual 104mph
2 litre Deisel Auto 100mph
2.7 litre Petrol V6 112mph
