Default Besta Manual Transmission Problem

I have experienced similar problem as what you have stated. Definitely, this is a big mechanical problem in your transmission. Firstly, I just want to elaborate more my similar experienced. I can shift smoothly from 1st to 2nd then 3rd gears. The problem is down shifting from 3rd to 2nd, I can only shift to 2nd gear by shifting back again to 1st gear. If your problem is completely similar as what I have elaborated here, then your mechanic should check the DAMAGED GEARS (where the 1st/2nd synchro hub fits) ON THE MAIN DRIVE SHAFT OF THE TRANSMISSION. I hope you can find this drive shaft from a KIA surplus shops. More power!

As far as i know, it is normal for diesel engine that the shift gear is hard to be shift-down gear during mobilizing if you did not hit the suitable speed and rpm

No it's not normal for diesel engines to have such gear shifting problems.
The gear change on these vans is no different to the petrol engined models, and the problem is most likely worn synchro rings.
