Re front wheel bearings, there are actually two - one outer bearing and one inner bearing. both are the same size. replacing them involves:
a) removing the rims / wheels
b) removing the disc brake assembly
c) removing the outer wheel bearing is possible at this point
d) removing the entire wheel hub from the shock absorber (lower mounting)
e) removing the wheel hub from the transmission assembly (from the outer rack end)
f) from here - you can now access the inner wheel bearing and replace it.
replacing the inner wheel bearing can take a bit of work, suggest that you let the mechanic replace it because it is not the easiest of things, considering that most of the parts that needs to be removed and replaced are critical (outer rack end, brake assembly, lower shock mount).
