Hello All. I have a 1996 Besta 2.2 and have been satisfied with its performance. It has run about 250,000 kms Already

. Lately its showing up its age, overheating, A/C brokedown,, water pump breakdown, oil leaks, starter solenoid, and others basically engine problems. I was thingking the best economic solution is to replace the engine. Does anyone know how much a surplus 2.2 or a 2.7 engine Cost and where to get one? Would changing it to a 2.7 engine be ideal?

We own 1992 hi-besta. some minor adjustments needed. Sensor location ( temp sensor, radiator, fuel level)... need some inputs on the connection..

Hello Guys, Bago lang po me rito. i have a kia besta 2.7 engine. ang problema ko lang eh ang lakas ng ugong at malakas ang tunog ng makina. wala naman siyang tagas. i don't know kung sa air intake ang problema kc nakalagay ito sa ilalim ng driver seat. can anyone help me. plss.... or if not show me where is the air filter really is located or mounted... kung may pic kau ng makina mas ok.... Plsssssss... I would really appreciate it.. Thanks. Guyss

the air filter is located under the driver side of the van right beside the front left wheel.

Hello everybody! I purchased a second hand Hi-Besta van. I have tried it and it seems good but I want to have a User and Service Manual as I am new on this one. If anybody have a downloadable one in pdf or in doc please help me.

I have the same problem too. If someone have send you a "User or Service Manual" for Kia Hi-Besta van, can you share it with me through this forum. Perhaps and downloadable one. The Engine is an R2 model but I don't know if its 2.2 or 2.7.
