Murphwiz, I'm sure you've seen this.

Now that's a good looking vehicle.

But they are only a VW Golf underneath, I'm of the belief that VW groups cars are the worst cases of badge engineering ever marketed,

The new Beetle the Audi A3. the Golf the Audi TT, the Seat Ibiza, The Skoda Fabia are all based on the same chassis and running gear.

Its a miracle of modern marketing becuase it costs VW group sod all in engineering terms and they make a fortune out of the resulting mugs of customers, no wonder they can afford to buy things like Lamborghini!

S**T and I'm not a VW fan but this Audi does look sweet, I wonder if it will be available in the UK.

One of the most comfortable car seats I used was that of the VW Scirocco.

Anyways you got a shed full of VWs Pepper.

yeah, but no, but oh whatever!

Doesn't mean I have to like them! :P

Oh mebbes a Mk1 Scirrocco Storm would hit the right note or a G60 Corrado (ok Ok)

Anyway I hate the VW aircooled engine thats why I'm running the Peugeot TUD in the back of mine, MMmmm reliability, and performance!

The first engine I stuck in there was a non turbo it had done 400,000 miles in a Citroen BX taxi!

Hello Pepper,

I know nothing about the G60 but the Storm----Oh yes, yes, yes,

Did you ever have the displeasure of driving an early MK1 Polo?, brakes--what brakes?--------- 'ejus!.

Funnily enough my best mate has a Mk1 Polo the brakes on that aren't as bad as the Mk1 Golf with the bar across the scuttle to the servo mind.

His Polo started life as a 1.0, its now a 1.3 with a 5 speed gearbox and it shifts like a car with twice that engine size, its as light as a feather compared to most modern cars.

Must go like a rocket.

If my memory serve me right the Mk1 Polo didn't have a servo.

You're right they don't come as standard, but this ones been upgraded and now runs the full braking system off a Polo GT. Servo with bigger discs and calipers.
