he loves the movies "CARS", but i think we went overboard buying him stuff. by the way this isnt even all of the cars toys and stuff he has. he has even more matchbox cars.

I know which "kid" is really spoiled. It's your inner child that has connected with your other child. Most dads have had that problem. Just wait till the "toys" become more expensive. You naturally have to "test" the new toy for safety reasons. What kind of parent would you be if you let your kid play with a new toy and you didn't safety check it first. And then there's the durability testing that follows. Usually after about a day or two your wife or significant other tells you to let the child play with his or her new toy. Been there done that. Enjoy them while you can. They grow up so fast.

looks like you are trying to live the child hood you wanted to live by buying him anything he wants. nothing wrong with that, but make sure he knows his place that hes the kid and your the father. dont let it get out of hand. let him know whos boss once in a while by making him earn it.

hah thanks for the words of encouragment guys. he's not really that spoiled, and he gets plenty of discipline. i tell him i'm not chuck norriss and this isnt a round house, we have corners. haha. but yeah we do buy him stuff because we both had to go without as kids. but i've got my own "toys"!
