Looking for any Sorento enthusiasts in New England that happen to be skiers.

Any reports, stories to share re;Sorento and snow, or experiences on New England roads the past few winters?

This year I'm 4 wheeling it in the Sorento. Last year the pickup couldn't always make it up the clubhouse driveway. Actually had to get towed to get the rear wheel out of the ditch. No damage but the ego, and some lost time by the fire.

My favorite ski areas in So. VT and with passes, happen to be Okemo and Stratton. I focus there because I belong to a ski club with a lodge near Mt. Snow. I do manage to get up to Jay Peak at least once a season. Also manage a trip to North Conway, NH area once or twice.

I'm usually looking for skiers to share the ride, and or day or two on the mountain. Driving out of eastern Connecticut (I-395), Usually heading north on Monday or Tuesday. Will often hit Wachusett and then into Vermont for another day or two, staying at the ski lodge. Back to CT on Thursday afternoon.

Any riders??? Chas

I dont ski. I did have a Sorento last winter though in St. Albans, VT. Not too far from Jay Peak. What a great vehicle in the snow. Its like a buldozer in it. But I traded it in for my 05 Spectra SX due to high gas prices. Other than the poor gas milage it was a great vehicle. I didnt get stuck with it at all.
