Default My 2001 Kia Spectra GSX

It is Sport Blue and has a cold air intake, Eibach Pro-kit Springs, and a #1 Parts Inc. muffler. I plan on getting some more suspension parts, body kit, build the motor for turbo and get a turbo for it.

We are doing what the Honda boys were doing some years ago. It is easy to mod a Honda because there is so many custom parts to choose from. Now to mod a KIA takes creativity.

Pics? And its not really creativity, its just a lack of parts... Its funny how people rag on hondas cause of all the parts they make. They make all the parts for those cars because in the beginning someone stepped up to the plate and got something done. I do not see that in the kia community.
With all the people doing these little things to these cars, they should save the dough, contact companies when they have dough and have em make something.
Car part makers do see that for the most part kia people are on a budget. Hence they arent going to make billions of parts to have them sit on the shelves for a lifetime..

Kfx is a good exampe of stepping up to the plate. Well starting to. They lack the multitude of parts cause he I am sure is on a budget himself,, but he saves, contacts companies, sends the dough and gets something done. People that make parts are not going to do it for nothing... So before you go saying oh anyone can mod a honda, well anyone can mod a kia too, get the cash then its just as easy as a honda to mod...
There is in no way a diffence besides, honda people save there dough, then mod.. It takes more than an abundance of parts to mod a car. It takes time, money, know how, and a little elbow grease.

Yeah it makes a difference in the seat of the pants feeling and it sounds good. Some intakes (granted prolly not this one) have generated up to 5-7 extra HP.

On bigger motors is where you see bigger gains. Like my 4.6 mustang bbk cai, it is dyno tested at 12-14 rwhp for just the intake kit. Thats a lot for just an intake but bbk stands by there dynos.
