I just place a booking of RM500.00. I am not sure if it is a Sirius II engine but according to the salesperson the engine has Variable Valve Transmission. Here are the technical specs for the Hyundai Sirius II

Model Sirius - II 2.0 DOHC
Type 16 valve DOHC 4- cylinder inline
Displacement (cc) 1997
Fuel Delivery System Electronic multi-port injection
Max. Power kW(ps)@rpm 98.4(133.8) @ 6000
Max. Torque Nm(kgm)@rpm 163.34 (16.7) @ 4500

I was told that the engine can produce up to 140ps. Other than the 16' tyres, the rest of it are the same as the old Carens 1.8.

Price when I deposited for the car was 80k. Might go up or down depending on the exicse calculation which caused all new car prices to suffer.

Anyway 80k for this car it a bargain! I just hope the quality of assembly is commendable.

i'm going to Gurun, kedah tomorrow for product briefing on NC04. A good thing to do as this NC04 surely gonna be a hit later on. Any info please contact on private message.

well, at first we've being told that this NC04 gonna have sirius, but on the second meeting wif my boss, kia auto korea shifted from sirius II to beta II engine...

Model Sirius - II 2.0 DOHC
Type 16 valve DOHC 4- cylinder inline
Displacement (cc) 1997
Fuel Delivery System Electronic multi-port injection
Max. Power kW(ps)@rpm 98.4(133.8) @ 6000
Max. Torque Nm(kgm)@rpm 163.34 (16.7) @ 4500

actually they're going to use hyundai beta II engine. new improvement.

Beta -2.0D
138 ps / 6,000 rpm
18.4 kg.m / 4,800 rpm

it should be the latest upgrade on this engine.

Who is garbiula? You seem to be someone on the inside since you mention a lot of inside story. What is your position so one can ascertain the strength of your story? And who is "we" and who is your "boss"?

Good! There is nothning wrong with that.

It only means that the things you mention here carry more substance than here say and this makes it more exciting to hear the inside story from "reliable" sources as against people who think they know alot. Cheers
