2002 Kia Sportage Front Strut Replacement

Hey Again. I am still working on my 2002 Kia Sportage 4X4 to give it a little more maintenance and have found myself confused by an estimate that I received for replacing the front struts. So I am hoping that someone will know just how many hours should it take to replace both front struts by a certified mechanic?

Also, the shop is trying to charge me 47.50 for shop supplies to do this and I feel like I'm being ripped. Just how many towels do they need anyway? I appreciate it. Thanks.

The information giving out by kia teck there is no special tools needed. A spring compressor an a good vice. That should be already be in good shop. That is a lot for hand towels an a can of wd 40.
