starting issues 00 sportage

i have been having trouble starting my 00 Sportage. it only happens once or twice a week but the wifes getting pissed and making me drive it till its fixed.
i just dont know where to start.
the problem: after a short trip in the morning"starts fine" she will come home and park for an hour or so before work . when she goes to leave it will either start right up and spuder out two or three times before it will stay running or it will take sevarel cranks to start
othewise its in great shape and only 50k on the clock

My wife had that problem on her 01'. It was the main relays going out. Hope that helps. At least, I think it was just like that. It was some time ago. haha. Either way, it gives you somewhere to start.
